About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide HR business partner support for multiple entities within L’Oreal West.
• Manage HR aspects including organizational design, performance management, recruitment, training, and employee engagement.
• Influence and adapt the organization to align with business objectives.
• Strategically manage individual careers by building development plans and defining training opportunities.
• Monitor and drive bench strength, identify high potential talent, and oversee career-pathing and management development.
• Champion work environment culture through exemplary employee relations and guidance aligned with leadership values.
• Partner with talent acquisition teams on recruitment strategy and hiring for open roles.
• Define succession plans and workforce initiatives in collaboration with teams.
• Assess current and future talent needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
• Manage and provide guidance in employee relations issues, ensuring sensitive issues are addressed appropriately.
• Oversee the maintenance and integrity of HR data to ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Lead development and implementation of local strategic HR policies and programs.
• Prepare reporting and analyses as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
• Minimum 7 years of proven human resources experience required.
• Experience dealing directly with senior management in a highly matrixed organization.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and consult with a wide range of management and employees.
• Working understanding of human resource principles such as change management and organizational design.
• Knowledge of CA employment laws and statutes pertaining to EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and others.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills to build strong work relationships.
• Strong customer service focus and executive maturity.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
