Join Our Thai Speech Data Collection Project – Work Remotely, Flexible Hours! We are seeking native Thai speakers to participate in a mobile call speech recognition project aimed at improving voice recognition systems for the Thai language. This is a short-term, flexible opportunity that you can complete from anywhere with a quiet environment. Project Overview: You and a partner will participate in up to 10 rounds of phone conversations, each lasting 8–10 minutes, using either free conversation based on a topic or a provided script. There are two data types: • Type 1: Free conversation based on provided keywords (unscripted). • Type 2: Read conversation from a provided script (scripted). You will record through the Appen Task platform using your mobile phone. What You'll Do: • Engage in realistic phone conversations with a partner • Follow natural speaking pace, tone, and pronunciation • Avoid background noise and ensure clear audio quality • Maintain content relevance, accuracy, and tone as per provided guidelines Requirements: • Native Thai speaker with standard Thai pronunciation • Access to a quiet recording environment • Able to commit to up to 100 minutes of recording (total) • Comfortable using mobile apps for recording Project Details: • Timeline: June – August 2025 • Daily Commitment: Approx. 0.8–1 hour/day • Compensation: $4 per person per valid session Note: Topics must avoid inappropriate content and follow strict content guidelines.
