As an ELA teacher, you'll have the opportunity to inspire students to develop a love for reading and writing, while fostering their critical thinking skills. Responsibilities: Teach ELA courses to students online, including US primary school curriculum or public school language courses. Foster a love of reading and writing for students through creative and interactive teaching methods. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their reading comprehension, writing skills, and critical thinking abilities. Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience for students. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Minimum of two years of ELA teaching experience for primary or middle school students. Familiarity with online teaching platforms. Valid state teaching certification in ELA. Familiarity with ELA basic genres and reading strategies. Understanding of CCSS or ELA systems preferred. Working Details: Part-time position (8 hours per week minimum).
