Gas Plant Operator – Permian Basin

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gas Plant Operator to join our team in Midland and Pecos, TX. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maximizing uptime through daily operations and maintenance of H2S Gas Treatment equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage recurring work orders for predictive and preventive maintenance
  • Conduct daily equipment checks, troubleshoot issues, and perform normal repairs
  • Report operations data and other requested information internally and externally
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Coordinate the delivery of consumables, including chemicals and other media
  • Accurately report all regulatory items and meter readings
  • Report problems requiring additional help or equipment to the supervisor
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

Requirements:

  • One year of oilfield experience required
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills required
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic required
  • Ability to proactively recognize problems and improvements as needed
  • Ability to carry out work assignments to the highest quality level
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable as a critical member of a growing organization
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently
  • Consistent professionalism and good judgment required
  • Ability to be safety and environmentally conscious
  • Ability to be punctual and willing to work long hours if needed
  • Computer proficiency (capable of recording daily reports via Excel and email) preferred
  • One year or more of amine treating experience preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent industry or operations experience preferred
