The Challenge
We’ve successfully created impressive frontend interfaces using V0.dev, but we’re struggling with backend integration. We need someone who understands how to:
• Connect V0.dev-generated frontends with functional backends
• Implement authentication, database, and API functionality
• Set up proper deployment pipelines
• Ensure security and scalability
What You’ll Do
This is a trial project (10-20 hours) to assess fit for potential ongoing collaboration. You’ll:
1. Review our existing V0.dev frontend code
2. Recommend and implement a backend solution (we’re considering Lovable.ai, Firebase, Supabase, or similar BaaS options)
3. Connect frontend components to backend functionality
4. Set up authentication and basic database operations
5. Deploy a working prototype
6. Document the process and create reusable patterns
Requirements
Must Have:
• Experience with backend integration for modern React/Next.js applications
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (V0.dev, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
• Knowledge of Backend-as-a-Service platforms (Firebase, Supabase, etc.)
• Strong API development skills
• Experience with authentication implementation
• Ability to document processes clearly
Nice to Have:
• Experience with Lovable.ai
• Knowledge of serverless architectures
• Experience with AI prompt engineering
• Background in rapid prototyping or MVP development
• Experience working with startups
Project Scope & Timeline
• Trial project: 10-20 hours
• Timeline: 1-2 weeks
• Budget: $500-1,000 for the trial (rate negotiable based on experience)
• Potential for ongoing work (10-20 hours/week) if trial is successful
