Join Littera Education as a Virtual ESL Tutor and make a difference in the lives of English language learners across the United States! We are seeking talented and experienced tutors to support students in grades 6-12 who are learning English as a second language. As a virtual tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students from the comfort of your own home, using our engaging and feature-rich virtual classroom platform. As a Virtual ESL Tutor with Littera Education, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tutoring sessions to students who are first learning English or who speak English as a second language. You will use our provided lesson content to deliver engaging and effective instruction, and you will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with your students through regular, ongoing sessions. Responsibilities: Provide virtual tutoring sessions to students in grades 6-12 who are learning English as a second language Use provided lesson content to deliver engaging and effective instruction Build strong relationships with students through regular, ongoing sessions Communicate effectively with students, parents, and Littera Education staff Maintain a consistent and reliable schedule, with availability to tutor at least 3 days per week at the same times each day Requirements: TESOL/TEFL/TESL Certificate preferred Virtual tutoring experience a plus Experience working with students who are first learning English or who speak English as a second language Relevant experience working with school-age learners Reliable computer, internet connection, and video camera Ability to work from within the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii Bachelor's degree preferred, but current college students with relevant experience are also welcome to apply What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of $18 per hour (with the option to earn $22 per hour for high school Algebra I, Algebra II, or Geometry tutoring sessions) Flexible scheduling, with the ability to choose your own availability Ongoing support and training from our dedicated team The opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of English language learners across the United States How to Apply: If you are a motivated and experienced tutor who is passionate about supporting English language learners, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
