Join Our Team as a Data Centre Operations Lead and Make a Real Impact! We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Lead to join our team remotely. As a core member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing data centre operations, ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day activities, and driving success in our data centre operations. About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Centre Operations Lead to manage and oversee the operations of our data centres, including co-location and domestic data centres. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background with expertise in data centre operations, server administration, and cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee data centre operations, including co-location and domestic data centres Lead and manage server administration, including Windows and Linux Ensure smooth execution of day-to-day activities, including server patching, troubleshooting, commissioning, and de-commissioning in VMWare, VxRail, and AWS/OCI environments Manage and maintain Active Directory, Azure AD, DHCP, DNS, GPO, and PowerShell Collaborate with application and business teams to ensure effective project management and coordination Lead major incident calls until RCA and RCCA, and have ITSM certifications Have experience with data centre DR tests, cloud technologies (AWS, OCI, and Azure), and monitoring tools (Logic Monitor, MoogSoft) Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have: At least Level 3 experience in data centre operations, server hardware, Wintel/Linux, AD, and backup/storage Strong technical skills in one or more of the following areas: Windows Server Administration, Server Patching, Troubleshooting, Commission and De-commissions in VMWare, VxRail and AWS/OCI environments DHCP, DNS, GPO Management, PowerShell Active Directory and Azure AD Management Linux Server Administration, DHCP, DNS, IAM User Management, Commission and De-commissions in VMWare, VxRail and AWS/OCI environments Server Patching, troubleshooting, Ansible Playbooks and Tower, Shell/Bash scripting Experience with VMWare, VxRail Administration, Backup and Storage Technologies, Citrix Technologies, and data centre DR tests Good exposure to cloud technologies (AWS, OCI, and Azure) and monitoring tools (Logic Monitor, MoogSoft) Some team and project management experience, coordination with application and business teams ITSM certifications and experience leading major incident calls What We Offer: We offer a competitive salary and the opportunity to work remotely as a core member of our team.
