As a key player in our ocean product development, you will execute strategies to support the growth of ocean volumes, enhance carrier development, and analyze carrier performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to increase ocean volumes, maximize competitiveness, and enhance service quality Work closely with the Managing Director of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, and service issues Analyze carrier performance, routings, and service issues to identify areas for improvement Collaborate with sales and operations teams to communicate strategy, market conditions, and direction Conduct regular service reviews to ensure agreed-upon KPIs are being met or exceeded Manage annual budget, control, monitor, and report results to achieve budget targets Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience in the international freight forwarding industry Direct ocean experience in working with ocean contracts, negotiating ocean rates, quoting ocean rates, and analyzing ocean rates and routing Prior ocean carrier experience is a plus Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong business acumen and leadership skills Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications What We Offer: Competitive salary range: $57,836.00 - $131,686.00 per year (Colorado residents only) Comprehensive benefits package, including pay benefits and quality of Work/Life programs Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth Collaborative and dynamic work environment Take the Next Step Are you ready for this challenge?
