As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of aging adults and individuals with disabilities, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and assistance with daily living activities, including feeding, meal preparation, light housework, incontinence care, mobility support, and personal hygiene
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring each client receives tailored support and attention
- Offer emotional and social support, companionship, and engagement to clients, promoting their mental and emotional well-being
- Arrange transportation to and from appointments, errands, and social activities as needed
- Maintain accurate records and reports, documenting client progress, health status, and any changes or concerns
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references
- Negative TB Test or Chest X-Ray
- Reliable means of transportation to and from work
- Basic computer skills and technical savviness
- Experience working with Alzheimer’s or dementia care (desired)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation (required)
