As a Virtual Math Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students in grades 6-8, providing high-quality tutoring support and helping them develop a deeper understanding of math concepts. Job Summary: Provide virtual math tutoring to students in grades 6-8, focusing on upper elementary and early middle school math content Build strong relationships with students and provide personalized support to help them achieve their academic goals Utilize our provided curriculum and online platform to deliver engaging and effective tutoring sessions Set your own schedule and availability, with the option to work multiple sessions per day Collaborate with our team to ensure a consistent and high-quality tutoring experience for our students Responsibilities: Deliver virtual math tutoring sessions to students in a 1:1 to 1:3 setting Review and prepare for tutoring sessions using our provided curriculum and materials Build strong relationships with students and provide feedback to help them improve their math skills Communicate effectively with students, parents, and our team to ensure a positive and productive tutoring experience Utilize online virtual tools and technology to deliver high-quality tutoring sessions Requirements: Relevant experience working with school-age learners in some capacity Relatively consistent ongoing calendar availability to support a session series from week to week Ability to effectively instruct and engage students with clear communication and interpersonal skills High comfort level with online virtual tools and technology Desktop or laptop with Chrome browser, video camera, and reliable internet connection Bachelor's degree preferred, but college students with 1+ years of relevant experience are welcome to apply What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of $18 per hour (non-high school algebra sessions) or $22 per hour (high school algebra I session series) Flexible scheduling and the ability to set your own availability Opportunity to work with students across the United States and make a positive impact on their education Collaborative and supportive team environment Professional development opportunities to help you grow as an educator How to Apply: If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for education, please submit your application, including a 2-minute video reply sharing your experience with math or algebra.
