Responsibilities
- Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information to drive informed decision-making
- Conduct industry and company due diligence to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
- Develop and review pitch/business origination materials, presentations, and transaction documents
- Drive transaction execution from pitch to closing, working closely with senior leaders and management teams
- Perform valuation and ad hoc financial analysis to support client engagements
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisors
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
- Assist in business development and contribute to the growth of our M&A advisory practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance, with extensive financial modeling and valuation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong financial and computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Undergraduate degree, MBA preferred
- Prior Investment Banking analyst experience and/or hands-on M&A experience preferred
- FINRA Series 63 plus a Series 79 or 82 license (or willingness to obtain necessary licenses)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple project deliverables simultaneously
