Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Disability, Workers' Compensation, and Leaves Specialist to join our team at Workwarp. As a subject matter expert in disability, leaves, and workers' compensation benefits, you will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day administration of our Disability and Leave Programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and minimizing financial risk to the organization. Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day administration of Disability and Leave Programs, including claims management and communication with employees, managers, attorneys, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) Serve as a professional subject matter expert, providing guidance and education to internal and external customers on company policies and procedures related to disability, leave, and workers' compensation claims Identify trends in service concerns, recommend improvements, and develop vendor performance standards to ensure compliance with applicable state regulations and company policies Work closely with TPAs, HR, and other stakeholders to identify, de-escalate, and document potential escalation situations, providing high levels of customer service and employee advocacy Help streamline processes and identify areas of opportunity in the integrated Work Comp and Disability Programs Benefits and Perks: We offer a competitive salary, industry-leading profit-sharing program, and performance incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including: 401(k) with generous company contributions Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, and parental leave Comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Family care assistance, including fertility support, surrogacy, and adoption assistance Holistic wellbeing programs, including access to an employee assistance program and free financial coaching Domestic and international space-available flight privileges Career development programs and world-wide partnerships for community service and sustainability initiatives Minimum Qualifications: 3-5 years of direct experience in disability, leave, or workers' compensation claims management and/or TPA vendor oversight Ability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and respond quickly to high-priority requests Experience with Access, Excel, MS Office suite, and SAP Understanding of technical claims procedures, medical protocols, and insurance industry best practices Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, risk management, human resources management, or a related field Experience in aviation or a related industry How to Apply: If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply now.
