Join Wayfair's innovative Search and Recommendations Analytics team as a Senior Data Science Analyst, where you'll leverage large datasets to inform our product roadmap and drive business growth. Collaborate with a high-performing team of engineers, machine learning engineers/data scientists, and product managers to develop and implement cutting-edge recommendation algorithms and strategies. Job Summary: We're seeking a motivated and solution-oriented Senior Data Science Analyst to join our team. As a key member, you'll design, run, and analyze A/B tests, develop new testing and evaluation methodologies, and create KPI reporting and monitoring tools. You'll also conduct exploratory data analysis to generate new insights and inform our product advice roadmap. Responsibilities: Run open-ended exploratory data analysis to identify new ideas and opportunities Design and run A/B tests of new recommendation algorithms Proactively monitor our recommendation models to identify potential issues, determine root causes, and resolve them Build new tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, engineering, and machine learning teams Communicate key insights and recommendations to executive leaders across the organization Requirements: 1.5+ years of professional experience in an analytical role Analytics or Data Science experience with e-commerce organizations is a strong plus In-depth experience with SQL, Python, and Python tools (Jupyter notebooks, functions, pandas, sklearn, matplotlib, etc.) Experience with experimental design (A/B tests) and statistical analysis to drive business decision-making Knowledge and experience with machine learning algorithms/techniques (decision trees, random forest, deep learning, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative attitude Ability to collaborate and proactively communicate with stakeholders Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Benefits: Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Health Insurance Gym Membership and Reimbursement PTO (Paid Time Off) Paid Holidays Paid Maternity and Paternity Leave 401K Retirement Plan Performance Bonus Apply now to join our team and take your career to the next level!
